I finished my last midterm this afternoon! It went pretty well, considering the lack of time spent studying the material. The multiple choice portion was pretty brutal, but the rest was alright, thank goodness.
I was up this morning at 8am and had a fantastic breakfast of a toasted pb+banana sandwich! It was exactly what I needed to get through my morning! I tried to study, but procrastination got the best of me, and instead I spent the morning going through websites that I haven’t used and trying to decide whether or not I will use them. It was pretty pointless, actually.
At lunch time I wasn’t all that hungry, so I steamed some frozen green beans in the microwave and heated up a cup of Campbell’s fire roasted sweet pepper & tomato soup. This is the boxed stuff, and it’s so tasty!
I did get a bit of studying done this afternoon, although obviously not enough to make the multiple choice any easier! I’m the world’s champion procrastinator, I swear. Why, even now I’m procrastinating going to bed — and I want to do that!
My midterm was at 2pm, and I brought some RealFruit gummy snacks to chew on while I wrote, to keep my mouth happy and my stomach settled.
I wasn’t exactly hungry by dinner time [which for me is 5:30pm!], but I steamed some broccoli anyway, as well as put a sweet potato [chunked] in the oven with some chicken fingers. It was a ton of food, and I’m still full from all of it, 6 hours later! Veggie power!
I ate a tiny handful of M&M’s before leaving to go to our university’s production of Romeo & Juliet. Just to cover the chocolate craving. The play was very good! I had a friend or two in the cast, and they did a great job of it! I’m not a huge Shakespeare fan, mostly because I prefer English that I can easily understand and don’t need to think through every sentence, but watching the plays is a million times better than reading them. My high school performed A Midsummer Night’s Dream when I was a sophomore, and all of my friends were in it, and I definitely found it easier to understand on stage than I did studying it in class!
The play didn’t get over until about 10:30pm, and I’m actually surprised I stayed up to write this, as I’m absolutely pooped!
I have to basically teach my anthropology class a chapter in the textbook tomorrow, a 75 minute presentation. I’m not one for public speaking at all, so it should be interesting. Wish me luck!
Do you enjoy public speaking? Why or why not?

Omg .. good luck!!
I find that 10 minute presentations are bad .. but 75 minutes? I would be a mess. But you’re amazing and I hope you rock their socks off!!
